SA -White Out VS Lights Out CHANGING THE SCRIPT

WHITE OUT: A correction fluid or white-out is an opaque, usually white, fluid applied to paper to mask errors in text. Once dried, it can be written over. It is typically packaged in small transparent bottles, and the lid has an attached brush which dips into the bottle. The brush is used to apply the fluid onto the paper.

What we have here is a concrete script change of the circumstances that surround SA, the changing of the script requires a set of controlled programmed actions to draw the user, (THAT'S YOU)to become distracted from what is really hiding in the shadows, of the GREAT LIGHTS OUT.

LIGHTS OUT: A movie # When Rebecca (Teresa Palmer) left home, she thought that her childhood fears were behind her. As a young girl growing up, she was never really sure of what was real when the lights went out at night. Now, her little brother Martin (Gabriel Bateman) is experiencing the same unexplained and terrifying

WHAT SCRIPT?

White Out is to alter the script...The Script is based on a set of Propaganda rules that YOU the consumer are following,
The Politicians are the ACTORS, who controls the Actors, the PRODUCERS.

But who controls the Movie, or the Narration?
WHO HAS THEIR CLUTCHES ON SA?
"Eskom has signed a $2.5-billion government-backed loan with the China Development Bank,
which will be used for construction of Kusile power station.
The loan agreement was signed on Tuesday following bilateral talks between the Chinese
President Xi Jinping and President Cyril Ramaphosa.
During the address by the two heads of state, Ramaphosa announced that China and South Africa countries also signed a number of trade agreements totalling $14.7-billion (about R196-billion at current exchange rates).
The CDB provides loans in over 90 countries around the world and in particular, finances natural resources and infrastructure projects overseas, including through China’s State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs)

BACKGROUND

ESKOM

Eskom is 96 yrs old, with an exceptional Power House of History behind it,

1923 Eskom was established on the 1st of March as the Electricity Supply Commission (ESCOM).
1925 System control centre established at Simmerpan (Today this is Eskom's National Control Centre, controlling the national network grid as well as the generating output of all Eskom power stations) Cape Town, Witbank, Sabie and Central Natal undertakings established - Maliveldspruit hydro station the first power station to be built by ESCOM.
1926 Witbank and Colenso power stations commissioned.
1927 ESCOM takes over Colenso power station from the railways - Sabie hydro power station commissioned (Sabie was the second power station built and run by ESCOM)
1927 ESCOM takes over Colenso power station from the railways - Sabie hydro power station commissioned (Sabie was the second power station built and run by ESCOM)
1929 ESCOM achieve sales of approximately 800 million units.
* "Electricity was the most important new technology of the 20th Century. It changed the world profoundly, and entirely for the better.  It is now the backbone of every modern economy. In households around the world, it is one of the three essential services along with water and sewerage. Modern
industry is impossible without it.  The better lives we live now are to a considerable extent because
of it. Every poor country, notably in Africa, should make the provision of electricity for all one
of its highest priorities.
* During the days of apartheid (a sort of socialism, since socialism is just state control), Eskom
produced the cheapest electricity in the world, very reliably. It built a succession of large coal stations, financed with cheap debt, on budget and on time. With some exceptions they ran very well. They used
our bad but plentiful and cheap coal from large coalfields run by our big mining majors. The coal was delivered by conveyor belt to the power station built right next to the field. Eskom was a huge success, outperforming private owned utilities around the world.

1930 Two additional sets of 20MW at Witbank power station make it the largest power station in the country with a total of 100MW producing the cheapest electricity in the world. -

Witbank connected via the country's first 132KV transmission line to the existing Rand network, making it one of the world's major networks. - ESCOM builds Doornpoort Dam on the Olifants River to supply Witbank power station (The abundant water supply and cheap electricity formed the cornerstone for future industrial and coal mining developments in  the Witbank area)

HOW CAN A 96 YEAR OLD INDUSTRY CREATED THE BEST SCIENTIFIC MINDS , DEGENERATE SO QUICKLY?????

"Since 1994, Eskom has been systematically ruined by politicians. The National Party Government managed to leave Eskom alone, with no instruction except to produce good electricity.
The ANC Government turned Eskom into an instrument of patronage and political engineering, with electricity supply of secondary importance. A program of affirmative action (often called “space creation”) kicked out skilled and experienced white engineers and replaced them with unskilled blacks. Eskom became a factory of “job creation” so that it now employs twice as many people, at high salaries,
as other utilities producing the same amount of electricity. The cheap, reliable coal supply was
wrecked by BEE coal procurement, where bad, expensive coal of varying quality was brought to the stations from far away by rail or, much worse, road, wrecking the roads and the environment.
Wholly incompetent senior managers were appointed because of their skin colour and political connections. Eskom, with Government help, failed to build stations in the 1990s when it was
obvious we needed them, and we ran out of electricity in 2007, with devastating, permanent
damage to the economy. The existing stations had to run flat out even to meet the sluggish
demand; maintenance was neglected; and the result was increasing plant failures. Panicking,
Eskom built Medupi and Kusile in a rush with bad designs, bad contracting, bad workmanship
and much corruption.
This is why Eskom failed, not because it was a state owned company. The idea that the Eskom
structure has become outdated is wrong. It worked well in the past and properly managed would
work well again. Having a separate system operator (running transmission) is a good idea
but I cannot see any advantage in breaking Eskom up further." https://www.politicsweb.co.za

"The remedy is simple, although its implementation is not. Let the market choose the best, cheapest, most reliable electricity with the lowest environmental costs. This will be nuclear, followed by coal, which is dirty now but can be made cleaner. Natural gas and imported hydro might options in future. Wind and solar are hopelessly expensive and unreliable. Establish an independent operator and let it buy electricity on a strictly market basis. Let Eskom remain as a state owned generator and allow private generators to compete against it on a fair basis. I doubt if many will be able to do so but some might in niche markets. Make Eskom clean and efficient, as it was in olden times.

Is this possible under black majority rule? Of course. Inefficiency and corruption are the
result of bad politics not black skins. We just need to get the politics right – although that’s a big “just”."

THEORY:
WHAT IF SA WAS DELIBERATELY BEING DEGRADED RESOURCE BY RESOURCE, SLOWLY BEING ERODED, JUST SO THAT ANOTHER COMPANY CAN BUY US OUT?
WHAT IF IT WAS ALL DELIBERATE?? THE LAST DOG WALKS AWAY WITH THE BONE

THE RESOURCE CURSE
The resource curse, also known as the paradox of plenty, refers to the paradox that countries with an abundance of natural resources (such as fossil fuels and certain minerals), tend to have less economic growth, less democracy, and worse development outcomes than countries with fewer natural resources. There are many theories and much academic debate about the reasons for, and exceptions to, these adverse outcomes.
Most experts believe the resource curse is not universal or inevitable, but affects certain types of countries or regions under certain conditions
 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resource_curse

In 1711 the Spectator wrote "It is generally observed, that in countries of the greatest plenty
there is the poorest living"so this was not a completely new observation. The term resource curse
was first used by Richard Auty in 1993 to describe how countries rich in mineral resources were unable to use that wealth to boost their economies and how, counter-intuitively, these countries had lower economic growth than countries without an abundance of natural resources.

 Economic effects

The IMF classifies 51 countries as “resource-rich.” These are countries which derive at least 20% of exports or 20% of fiscal revenue from nonrenewable natural resources. 29 of these countries are low- and lower-middle-income. Common characteristics of these 29 countries include (i) extreme dependence on resource wealth for fiscal revenues, export sales, or both; (ii) low saving rates; (iii) poor growth performance; and (iv) highly volatile resource revenues.[1]

A 2016 meta-study finds weak support for the thesis that resource richness adversely affects long-term economic growth.[14] The authors note that "approximately 40% of empirical papers finding a negative effect, 40% finding no effect, and 20% finding a positive effect" but "overall support for the resource curse hypothesis is weak when potential publication bias and method heterogeneity are taken into account."[14] A 2011 study in the journal Comparative Political Studies found that "natural resource wealth can be either a “curse” or a “blessing” and that the distinction is conditioned by domestic and international factors, both amenable to change through public policy, namely, human capital formation and economic openness."

Dutch disease
Main article: Dutch disease first became apparent after the Dutch discovered a huge natural gas field in Groningen in 1959. The Netherlands sought to tap this resource in an attempt to export the gas for profit. However, when the gas began to flow out of the country, so too did its ability to compete against other countries' exports. With the Netherlands' focus primarily on the new gas exports, the Dutch currency began to appreciate, which harmed the country's ability to export other products. With the growing gas market and the shrinking export economy, the Netherlands began to experience a recession. This process has been witnessed in multiple countries around the world including but not limited to Venezuela (oil), Angola (diamonds, oil), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (diamonds), and various other nations. All of these countries are considered "resource-cursed".
Dutch disease makes tradable goods less competitive in world markets. Absent currency manipulation or a currency peg, appreciation of the currency can damage other sectors, leading to a compensating unfavorable balance of trade. As imports become cheaper in all sectors, internal employment suffers and with it the skill infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities of the nation. This problem has historically influenced the domestic economics of large empires including Rome during its transition from a Republic in 509

Revenue volatility
Prices for some natural resources are subject to wide fluctuation: for example, crude oil prices rose from around $3 per barrel to $12/bbl in 1974 following the 1973 oil crisis and fell from $27/bbl to below $10/bbl during the 1986 glut. In the decade from 1998 to 2008, it rose from $10/bbl to $145/bbl, before falling by more than half to $60/bbl over a few months. When government revenues are dominated by inflows from natural resources (for example, 99.3% of Angola's exports came from just oil and diamonds in 2005), this volatility can play havoc with government planning and debt service. Abrupt changes in economic realities that result from this often provoke widespread breaking of contracts or curtailment of social programs, eroding the rule of law and popular support. Responsible use of financial hedges can mitigate this risk to some extent.[citation needed]

Susceptibility to this volatility can be increased where governments choose to borrow heavily in foreign currency. Real exchange rate increases, through capital inflows or the "Dutch disease" can make this appear an attractive option by lowering the cost of interest payments on the foreign debt, and they may be considered more creditworthy due to the existence of natural resources.

Enclave effects
Economic diversification may be delayed or neglected by the authorities in the light of the temporarily high profits that can be obtained from limited natural resources. The attempts at diversification that do occur are often grand public works projects which may be misguided or mismanaged.

Human resources
In many poor countries, natural resource industries tend to pay far higher salaries than would be available elsewhere in the economy. This tends to attract the best talent from both private and government sectors, damaging these sectors by depriving them of their best skilled personnel. Another possible effect of the resource curse is the crowding out of human capital; countries that rely on natural resource exports may tend to neglect education because they see no immediate need for it

Income and Employment
A study on coal mining in Appalachia "suggest that the presence of coal in the Appalachian region has played a significant part in its slow pace of economic development. Our best estimates indicate that an increase of 0.5 units in the ratio of coal revenues to personal income in a county is associated with a 0.7 percentage point decrease in income growth rates. No doubt, coal mining provides opportunities for relatively high-wage employment in the region, but its effect on prosperity appears to be negative in the longer run."Another example was the Spanish Empire which obtained enormous wealth from its resource-rich colonies in South America in the sixteenth century. The large cash inflows from silver reduced incentives for industrial development in Spain. Innovation and investment in education were therefore neglected, so that the prerequisites for successful future development were given up. Thus, Spain soon lost its economic strength in comparison to other Western countries.

A study of US oil booms finds positive effects on local employment and income during booms but that after the boom, incomes "per capita" decreased, while "unemployment compensation payments increased relative to what they would have been if the boom had not occurred."

EFFECTS
Natural resources are a source of economic rent which can generate large revenues for those controlling them even in the absence of political stability and wider economic growth. Their existence is a potential source of conflict between factions fighting for a share of the revenue, which may take the form of armed separatist conflicts in regions where the resources are produced or internal conflict between different government ministries or departments for access to budgetary allocations. This tends to erode governments' abilities to function effectively.
Even when politically stable, countries whose economies are dominated by resource extraction industries tend to be less democratic and more corrupt.Violence and conflict
A 2019 meta-analysis of 69 studies found "that there is no aggregate relationship between natural resources and conflict.

Osiris Marduk and State Capture of South Africa

Daily Maverick ref article : South Africans have been bombarded with revelations of how the state has been hijacked to amass wealth for a connected power elite involving President Jacob Zuma and the Gupta family .  An academic research partnership has consolidated all available information into a frightening compendium on state capture , mapping the deals, the key players and the modus operandi for commandeering control of state institutions and parastatals. Their report shows why it is necessary for a judicial inquiry and criminal prosecution for corruption, fraud, money laundering, racketeering and, possibly, treason.
